| 2008-2009 Section C-1B Officers & Advisers |
| Section Chief: Jordan Thole |
 |
I am currently attending UW-Platteville as a sophomore in the Environmental Engineering program.
I'm an Eagle Scout from Troop 68 out of Onalaska Wisconsin. I was tapped out in 2002 while my troop
was out of council at Camp Tesomas, where I was ironically tapped out at the same ceremony as Jim Bichler,
our past Section Chief and a good friend of mine. I took my brotherhood during the next summer at
Camp Decorah while I was a CIT. Through the next 5 years I worked on the Staff of Camp Decorah.
In 2007 I was nominated for the Vigil honor, my Vigil name is Mechen Manachewagan, which means
The Large Cutter of Wood. I have attending a multitude of different training courses from courses
at NOAC to NCLS to SOS. I am also a NCS certified Outdoor Skills Director and a NASP certified
archery instructor. I hope to have a large contingent attend NOAC this upcoming summer, and I
can't wait for our own conclave in the Upper Peninsula this upcoming september. I hope to see
you all there.

I am a sophomore at Northern Michigan University majoring in Business Computer Information Systems.

I attended the National Leadership Seminar and served as Section C-1b Secretary in 2008.
I also attended ArrowCorps5 this past summer where I worked as a squad leader for Bridger-Teton.
I have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, The Venturing Outdoors Bronze Award and The Venturing Gold Award.
I enjoy camping, backpacking, and playing games. I am really looking forward to serving as Section Vice
